Meet Iain Macnish

Dry Eye Clinical Specialist and Co-Owner Iain Macnish BSc MCOptom DipTp(IP) offers a wide range of Enhanced Ophthalmic Services not usually found in the community.

Having graduated from Cardiff University in 1997, Mr Macnish began his Ophthalmic training in The Royal Liverpool Hospital and Alder Hay Children’s Hospital before qualifying as a Dry Eye Specialist studying at the world renowned Moorfields Hospital.

Mr Macnish consults in the A&E Department at The Cumberland Infirmary and runs the clinical aspects of the practice at Eden Eyecare. Mr Macnish can provide high levels of emergency eye trauma care, Dry Eye treatments and the monitoring of many eye conditions usually only undertaken in secondary care.

Meet Zoë Ogle

Dispensing Optician and Co-Owner Zoë Ogle FBDO brings a wealth of experience to Eden Eyecare and is the leading technical practitioner who designs, fits and dispenses lenses for the correction of her clients vision and needs, as well as curating our ever-changing collection of designer and independent eyewear. She is also qualified to dispense Miyosmart lenses to help with myopia management in children.

In addition to her optometry qualifications, Zoë studied personal styling with The British College of London. She combines her technical knowledge with bespoke frame styling for each client and sources all new eyewear and brands for Eden Eyecare. Zoë has developed a unique personal style consultation service within the practice, helping people experience a new way to find the perfect pair of glasses to suit their colouring, lifestyle and more.
